Guys Ana has been crying for HOURS we don't know what's wrong. She only stops crying to eat but once she's done she starts screaming instantly. We think it's her stomach but not sure. If she doesn't stop soon what should we do? Cuz isn't it bad for a new born to be crying for so long?
my daughter when through this. she had really bad gas and was colic. her formula was the problem. we gave her gas drops after every feeding and Gerber colic drops once a day and switched to enfamil gentlease she's been fine ever since. she'll be 4mons tomorrow. @nia.fish
I was a little crazy, not gonna lie, but it doesn't last forever! gripe water is all natural. Mommy's bliss is the one I think I had
@kattastrophe, oh jeez 😳 but I never even heard of gripe water before 😳 I'll have to look it up
@mommyofroyalprincessdeila, I might just ask the lactation consultant I'm seeing tomorrow and see if she has any idea.
very common and there's no real cure. some newborns cry a lot for "unknown" reasons.
my daughter went through colic 2 weeks to 11 weeks.... she'd cry every night at 8pm for anywhere between 45min to 5 hours during peak crying (6-8 weeks) gripe water and swaddling helped sometimes, not always though
if you feel to bad honey take her to the doctors if you can't figure it out it could be colic
@rachaelbutsch, never heard of gas drops? But her formula is specifically for preventing gas so we're not sure if it made her worse :/ @mommyofroyalprincessdeila I'll try that!@mimiz I hope not! This is the first time she was not able to be comforted ever :/ I just wish I knew what was wrong 😔😭
they cry up to 5 hours. but lay her on hee back and run her belly on a circle motion also you can rub her feet that's what I do when my babygirl is screaming and I don't know why I just rub her belly
@hannahsmom16, she's on gentlease right now and it's seeming to make her worse :/
