I'm 15 and pregnant- I don't know why anyone would want this to happen to them. I wanted to get married and become a lawyer before I even thought of having kids. teen parenting is not something to be glorified and bragged about.
I'm 18, got pregnant at 17... And wouldn't ask for anything different.. I love my baby, and cannot wait to care for her. Yes I'm still in school. But it's no different then a older mother leaving to go to work. I have my own apartment with my fiancé, but it also has to do with how mature they are. And to the comment above, why wouldn't anyone what a child to happen to them, I see this as an amazing experience, seeing and hearing my baby's heart is the most wonderful thing I could ever hear in this world, and I cannot wait to see her. But like I said, everyone is different.
I was thinking about this earlier. I totally get that things happen, and then you're forced to grow up and deal with it. But I can't stand seeing girls that are 16 and 17 that are actively trying to have children. When I was that age I certainly thought I was mature..and in a lot of ways I was, but definitely not mature enough to bring a child into this world. Absolutely not. It can most certainly be done and I'm not saying that someone that accidentally gets pregnant can't be a good mother because they definitely can, but I think planning to start a family should happen after you experience high school.
Sure when you get your first period your BODY might be "mature enough" to have a baby but your mind isn't even close. I got my period in 5th grade. Think I was ready to have a baby then? Lol
I had my oldest when i was 15 and my youngest at 30. For me it was nit the same sorry but no. Again for me. This pregnancy was so peaceful, exciting. non stress at all. Now that he is here same. Even my marriage yes we fight damn again no stress an good. Having Brianna at 15 was so stressful from leaving with my mother to her father not maturing to asking everyone for rides, money.
