If you use the maxi pads id suggest putting the cut side facing up so it's less likely to leak out of that side.

I got my reusable ones at babies r us a pack of six for 7-8 dollars.

If you're on WIC the health department can provide you some reusable ones! Or at least they did for me

maxi pads! cut them in half and place the sticky part to your bra, super absorbent
