I didn't know you couldn't take pepto while pregnant. I took some last night because I had horrible diarrhea. I'm in my third trimester. Will my son be ok?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Hi I am into my 15 week now But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though What should i do i am very confused Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights

You should be-actually, I'm pretty sure it's on my list of meds ok to take during pregnancy. You can call your OB if you're worried either way. And I know for sure imodium is ok to take if you're still getting diarrhea. Big hugs hon!

@mommagotbump16, I just looked it up and it's a class C drug in your third trimester which is a no no. I'm just worried about baby boy

Class C doesn't mean it's definitely going to hurt your baby. It means there is a risk and you'd have to weigh that against benefits to mom. @stacydoffin you can always call your OB to be sure. Info I've read only mentioned big risks with chronic use.

@arivera64, kaopectate is the same med as pepto bismol.

kaopectate is on the list of safe medication for diarrhea from my doctor. @mommagotbump16

My ob told me I could take it while I was pregnant I was also in my third trimester! So you should be fine just don't take to much

@arivera64, it's on mine too - I was just letting you know it's the same medication as Pepto, just a different brand. Sorry for the confusion! @stacydoffin Imodium is a category B if you get diarrhea again.

ok @mommagotbump16 cool i just didn't feel like looking it up. Lmao i just go by the list. Then i look at the ingredients when I'm in the store so i can buy the no name brand one 😂😂😂😂

@kingdamari, Wow. 1) Well thanks for calling at least three of us stupid. 2) That's not even the reaction that has been documented in chronic Pepto/Kaopectate use, so no idea where you're getting that from. 3) Some things are common on OB med lists, but they are all dependent on what that OB feels is safe in their experience. 4) She did say it's a no no, but that's not what category C means exactly. I already clarified that. 5) My comment to you was only to let you know, "Hey, it is on my list, but I didn't say all OB's are ok with it."
