I'd personally wait a month.

Sometimes your body and your baby can be ready but it just needs a little extra push so just talk to your dr and just see how things are going

The worst part of induction for me is they wanted to monitor baby at every moment, so I felt stuck in the uncomfortable bed and if I would move they had to come in and readjust the monitors

When it gets close to your due date see how your baby is growing and decide then how you are feeling and that should help you make your decision

Your doctor gave you an option. That means it isn't necessary but he will do it if you want. Just be aware of the risks associated with induction over going into labor naturally.

@mommyof2016, it doesnt have to be a emergency to be induced if youre full term. some dr will induce at 39 weeks. @xhtownstarx go with whatever you're comfortable with. personally induction isnt fun bc to me it took a lot longer then actually going into labor on my own!!! good luck tho:)

@xhtownstarx I know:) I would wait at least a week but honestly that's up to you, it's your body induction is just hard from what I hear but I'm not sure

i would wait and if your late they should schedule you induce date....

my doctors scheduled me an induce date at my last appointment for a week after baby was due just in case she didnt come. but she came to days later so all they did was deleted my induction date.

Just let you dr tell you. My dr told me she was going to induce me on my delivery date but it's probably because I had to do with me having preeclampsia.

If you can wait, it's best not to be induced.

If you're able to medically, I would say wait till your due date! Induction isn't fun, but usually after the due date they schedule it
