30 days until baby Joshua is here getting excited but scared because I want my csection to go…

I'm nervous about my c-section as well. most of my friends have had c-sections, and lots of other moms I've talked to have as well. all successful.

I'm only nervous because of my doctor she pretty much blows me off and doesn't spend time with me, her nurse and medical assistants do. As far as the c-section itself I'm not worried about recovery, should be as easy as my first two. Hope yours goes as planned and as smooth as possible @shannaa24

@levismommy2014, I'm sorry about your doctor. I would definitely look into another one, depending on how far along you are. she should give you her time and help you and talk to you about any concerns you have. regardless if it's her job, she should be more caring to her patient's.

I've been looking for a new Dr since 15 weeks but because of insurance I can't switch. She seems to take time with her patients that have private insurance but not ones that have Medicaid. Some of the moms that have her and I talked about this last week. It's sad really. @shannaa24

@levismommy2014, I've realized the same thing about my previous doctor. I was on medicaid with her, and I didn't feel like I was treated as well either. she wasn't even gonna tell me my kids gender. said medicaid doesn't cover it. but the sonogram guy told me. with this pregnancy I pay for Aetna. and I'm treated great. I've explained it to my doctor. because she's so good to me. but in really she's just a good doctor and loves her job. I'm not sure exactly if it's medicaid or its just the doctor. but regardless they take the insurance they should treat you with respect and give you their time. their still getting paid from the insurance.

Exactly the problem with having Medicaid verses private insurance is that with Medicaid they are guaranteed payment with private insurance the aren't so they tend to treat those with private better to insure they get paid.

@levismommy2014, hmmm. I didn't know that. I know with my private insurance, I do survey's on my doctors. if I wasn't happy, I'll always leave a review. so definitely after you leave your doctor, I would leave a review on their page, or yelp. alot of people check reviews before going places or living anywhere. I definitely check reviews before I choose. my doctor is #1 on Aetna with a 4 1/2 star if not 5. so she was the first one I chose. I'm definitely satisfied with her.

Yeah and that's good I'm happy for you and I plan on leaving a review and telling my insurance carrier.
