so upset just found out I'm having a baby shower next weekend and saw the list of ppl that got invited I don't talk to or like half of the ppl they invited that is why I told my family I didn't want a baby shower and if they did I wanted to be fully involved but noooo I hate surprises I'm so upset I really don't even want to show up I hate that they did this I'm very straight forward and let them know yet they still go around what I said someone please help me see the positive in this ugh 😑😠

One positive is that people are gonna shower you with gifts.. that you dont have to pay for, & because you dont like the invite list just think of the gifts lol

the positive is this an experience you'll never get back! maybe they just wanted to see if things cool go smoothly since it's all about you honey. Its going to be okay just look at like this it's for the baby and you want your baby to know it's family inside and out the womb.

@pink805, you sound exactly like me. I am so glad they didn't try n surprise me. Cause they don't realize that I wouldn't want 3/4 of my family there cause they haven't once asked how baby is doing my entire pregnancy. Good luck girl! Try to make the best of it. Just think, the more people the more baby stuff. And I hate being fake but play fake nice for one day! You can do it 🙌🏼 just keeping repeating more things for baby more things for baby. Lol

Just look forward to the gifts your baby will be blessed with..baby showers help a lot !...my sister n laws made me one with my partners fam ,which I don't like...was not looking forward to it..but hey baby girl got lots of gifts

Lol! I agree with everyone, just smile and thank them for the gifts 👍🏽 The only time them being nosey pays off is when they bring you presents for the baby. Even ones you can exchange for store credit 😉
