i know every pregnancy is different. but i have only seen my actual dr twice any other time i see my nurse practioner. she checks how far i am and the heartbeat. i was just wondering if im seeing my actual OB enough. a lot of people say they seen their OB every time they went to ghe hospital.
my doctor is always in room during my appt, even when intern nurse is the one who is doing all things, sometimes she's correcting intern how to things right way ;) but she never leave the room and she always ask me when visit starting if I'm ok with the intern in my room or that intern will checking me etc.
i always see my ob...except some days when someone goes in labor unexpectedly n he has to go to the hospital..then the nurses check on baby, and sometimes they make me wait until hes back. also..will all previous pregnancies, i always saw my ob on every appointment
I had a centering program at the hospital I went to for my prenatal care. saw same midwife, Dr, and nurse everytime in a group setting. when it came time to give birth though I had a obgyn deliver me cause I was high risk due to preterm labor. gestational diabetes and preclamscia that developed during labor
with my first, I was passed around the office and saw nearly all the doctors there. but since this one is going to be a scheduled csection I've been seeing my dr every time.
well i go to a hospital for my appoinments so maybe its busier. its IU Riley hospital for children.
