It's for the Rh factor, like @clara_eakin said. Rh- gets the RhoGam shot. I'm B- and got it at 28 weeks when I did my glucose test and pertussis shot.

If you're RH Negative you will get a Rhogam shot so your body won't reject the baby or attack it like it's an infection

I have low blood type me and my mom O positive and O Negative but we don't have to get any shots

i have that but i dont have to get a shot. Ive only heard of women getting shots bc if theyre blood tyoe when they have RH Negative and its the Rhogam shot.
