I'm confused. if your baby has been born already, why are you still counting the weeks of pregnancy? like, you're not pregnant anymore. stop. count the weeks since your babys been born.

I've seen that before and it's weird for most, but keep in mind preemie babies in the NICU often have "adjusted" ages, for instance if a baby is born at 32 weeks, when she is 10 weeks old, she will be 2 weeks adjusted age. This isn't exact of course, every preemie is different and some adjusted ages are different depending on development and the adjusted age is dropped once the baby has caught up and is developmentally their true age. But that's prob what you saw with the NICU baby 😉

Some people count the first 3 months of having a newborn as "The Fourth Trimester". The transition period. I get it and like the concept but idk about counting the weeks like pregnancy
