My better late than never LABOR STORY ::
I woke up on Saturday 4/16/2016 at 2:16am thinking that I was having major discharge. When I went to the bathroom I wasn't sure I was peeing or what. So I waited a few minutes, just sat on the toilet. Kept dripping. Then I decided I was going to take a shower. when I stood up water gushed out. I got on preggie & got some advice from some fellow members because I wasn't sure if my water broke or not... Comes it find out it did. it was about 2:30am & my brothers had just pulled up in the drive way, they were coming for my baby shower which was Sunday. Woke up my mom & told everyone that my I think my water had broken. it took them an hour to get ready. Thank God I wasn't in pain or in a rush. We finally got to the L&D around 4am. I got to the hospital, still wasn't having any contractions that I knew of. Once they started monitoring me, they told me that my pain tolerance was extremely high & that I was having contractions, just didn't feel them. I walked around for 2 hours then they finally offered some medicine to help induce the contractions I guess. then the pain began. I was about 4cm dilated & 100% effaced. but my midwife was able to stretch my cervix because I was so soft. The nurses were taking their time getting things ready until I told them that it was time & that I needed to push now! After 5 min of pushing my 7 lb 10 Oz baby boy was out! Everyone was surprised because I was only 95lbs pre pregnancy. & he had a head full of hair lol. I didn't have an epidural or any meds for the pain.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.
