Is anyone else considering hybrid feeding? Meaning breast milk and formula feed. I might need to do this route once I go back to college 2 months after I have my little one. I'm hoping I won't need too, but I know there is always that chance of not having enough while I'm gone to school.
@mimiz, I'm so sorry to hear that :( . I'll definitely take notes of what you've done. And drink water like no other. And massage in the shower.
I lost my first pregnancy at 20 weeks and I leaked so much milk literally the next day I was so confused as to why it was happening and this time it took me 4 days!!! I cried so much I thought I wasn't gonna be able to breast feed and nope now I OVER produce because all I have done make sure you hydrate lots put in double of what you take out it helped me so much I'm so thankful for them because I felt like a failure
@mimiz, thank you. Being a ftm I'm not entirely sure how my body will work after she's here. I'm producing colostrum now and leaking and I'm told that's a positive sign to start. And I too am the only one going to breast feed.
True very true well try fenegreek of you'd like and tons of water had helped me I'm the only person in my family that has ever breastfeed and I cried because I had no milk my nurse suggested nightly massaging in the shower and water and it totally helped me if anything sooo many people do both breast and formula feeding as long as your baby is eating and healthy it's fine
@mimiz, yeah I am going too. But a lot of people around me told me to consider it due to not all woman producing a lot
Have you thought of pumping tons storing in the freezer? It's good for six months in the freezer not that I'm against formula but my nurses gave me that idea
I'm not planning to breast feed but would you ladies recommend breast feeding for the first time or straight onto bottles? Everyone keeps telling me different and I need advice! 😓
Boy mamas! I need help! I just found out yesterday I'm having a little baby boy🤗 I need opinions on cercumsizing? 🤔 I'm stuck in the middle. TIA
Hey girlies! I plan on breast feeding my LO as much as I can. I also plan to formula feed when needed. Have any of you moms tried organic formulas? How was it? Experience?
Because I have to be on mental health medication after birth I am unable to breastfeed😔 what are some good formulas for babies? I know breast is best but I can’t be on the medication I need and breast feed.
Birth Plan Rant
I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
you usually produce what she eats, if you feed and pump every 2-3 hours or 3-4 hrs that's what you'll produce
