Haven’t been on here in a while. My little Melody is now 19 months. Time flew by so fast

She is already 4 months old. I feel like I blinked and now she's already getting so big.

1) My daughter is a miracle baby. When I was 15 I lost one of my ovaries to a fairly large tumor. Tumor was not cancerous but it cut blood supply from my Fallopian tube and ovary. And the other ovary was presumed dead tissue due to a large cyst growing on the inside. So yeah.
2) I met my husband by complete accident. I thought he was an old childhood friend. So I added him on Facebook and things went from there.
3) I deal with many mental illnesses on a daily basis. Anxiety, mood dis...

Having a child doesn't mean your life is over. It's where your new life begins. Sure you can't party every night. Instead you'll be watching a part of you grow up. You'll cuddle, feed, comfort, love, change, and so much more. To me that is more exciting.

I've seen to many say that having a child ended their life. No it didn't. It started a new one. One that is a gift that keeps giving. Don't take that for granted.

My husband seems to think breastfeeding is just soooooo easy.... I have not only a forceful letdown but over supply as well. I just want to let my boobs dry so badly. My daughter hates feeding off my breasts because she gets way to much. So my last resort is a bottle now. She is never satisfied from a bottle.
I just don't know what to do anymore.

Was diagnosed with postpartum depression today. Had my daughter 13 days ago.
I heard stories of woman with postpartum being frustrated with their babies all the time. Or angry. But I don't feel an ounce of anger towards her. I just don't feel connected. I want to cry all the time. And it's terrible for me to feel like I don't want to be around my daughter. Looking at her makes me want to bust down and cry. Her and my husband feel so far away from me mentally. And it's so hard. I'm supposed to b...

Why do I feel so far away from my daughter. Not physically, mentally. Same with my husband. I feel like she only sees me as her food source. I feel like a failure with breastfeeding because now I have to exclusively pump because again she was too aggressive with my breasts :/ . I feel so low.
