finally about to pack my hospital bag. Everyone help! Help me make sure I don't forget anything. I'm packing:
-sleep dress and robe (so I don't have to use hospital gown, they gross me out 😜)
-loose fitting pants (2 pairs)
-1 pair of yoga pants
-1 pack (4 pairs) granny panties
-zip up hoodie
-3 nursing bras
-open faced sweater
-socks
*i also am ordering a couple nursing tanks from H&M, the ones I found at stores here are way too expensive.
Toiletries (travel sized):
-shampoo and conditioner
-body wash
-loofah
-face wash
-toothbrush & toothpaste
-deodorant
For baby:
-a couple blankets
-white onesies in NB and 0-3 months
-2 pairs pants
-sleeper
-soothies pacifier
-socks
-no scratch mittens
-Boppy pillow
Ok so I know this seems like a lot, I always ALWAYS overpack for stuff. It's a "just in case" sort of thing. Idk how long I will be in the hospital for and I want to be prepared so boyfriend doesn't have to run home as our hospital is pretty far from our house. So no one needs to tell me "you won't use most of that stuff." I probably won't, but oh well. So is there anything I should add that I'm not thinking of? Thanks :) 🍼💙
Cool cool I'll do that :) so how are you doing?! You're only like a week behind me, are you ready for your lil lady?!
different hospitals allow different things, some hospitals will have their own that you can use too.. just ask your dr at your next appt (:
@littlemissrainesmommy someone on my other post is telling me the hospital won't allow heating pads ..do you have any idea why that would be?
Careful of H&M. There clothes are so tiny! I bought a size medium maturity tank top, it fit my 4 yr old better than me!
Take cards, laptop something to keep you busy. Take baby book for hand and feet prints. Guest can also sign it .
Girl I have a labor bag which has heating pad, black robe, black bra for the tub, oil diffuser, counter pressure massager, slippers, yoga ball pump, and then a labor snack bag. then our regular hospital bag with pretty much everything you said, and of course Raines diaper bag with her stuff... lol
my list is long too lol , I have most of my stuff packed except the stuff I use everyday. so I have a list of those things next to my bag so that if I'm not home when I go into labor someone can go to my house and get what I need. oh and I'm bringing my breast pump. I heard that was a good thing to bring so the lactation nurses can help me learn to use it properly and whatnot ! @emkasting
I over packed his diaper bag for sure but better to be safe than sorry. I'm still working on my hospital bag @emkasting
I'm glad someone else seems like an "overpacker" haha, when I finished typing out the list I was like whoa 😳😳 that looks like a lot lol @excitedmom37
Flip flops for sure! And chap stick was good to have if labor lasts a while. Oh and a after baby snack lol
OH yeah I forgot to put flip flops, I have some I just didn't put them on this list. Good call! @mamabearluken
You got it. I feel the same way. I know I over packed but that's ok. I don't know how long I'll be there with this c section so it's cool. I packed everything you have. yes flip flops I'm getting too.
I would bring towels and blankets, the hospital towels are really little and the hospital blankets are thin
I'm bringing my own pillow, a book, my heating pad, and slippers and flip flops for shower !
girl I've been ready!! lol only 20 more days give or take!!!!!!!!!!😃
