Okay so I have a question for all the moms who have breastfed before.. My milk came in yesterday and every time babygirl eats she usually only eats on one side for about 10 maybe 15 minutes but acts to full to eat on the other side. My first question is if that is normal or not? And my second question is, do I need to do anything on the side she doesn't eat on? I only have a manual pump right now and they told me not to pump every time.

yes it normal. just switch sides for each feeding, some days she may eat on only one and other feedings she may want both. they recommend you don't start pumping until week 3 or 4.

Yes at the start baby's belly is only the size of an almond. I think I started having to do both sides a little before my guy was 2 months. Just keep track of which boob baby eats from. My baby developed a favorite so it messed with my milk lol
