I drank before I knew I was pregnant, and I think god baby is fine. I would listen to these ladies, and talk to your doctor. Because what another woman's doctor tells her, may not be what your doctor wants. We do give up a lot while being pregnant, but I can say it worth it.
Okay @londonsmommy16 yes false information. I come from a family of med school, nursing school, and many other medical field graduates. NO AMOUNT OF ALCOHOL DURING PREGNANCY IS OKAY. not even red wine. if you know you are pregnant you should stay away from it all together. for example (my body my choice, my educated choice) I found out I was pregnant with my daughter at 10 days past my ovulation date. so verrry early on. I found out 3 days before my 21st birthday. did I still even have one drink to celebrate. hell no. still haven't touched anything to drink. my daughter will be 6 months tomorrow. was planning on celebrating 22nd birthday in light of my 21st not going as planned. about a month before hand I found out I was pregnant again with my son. did I celebrate. of course not. I KNOW better. your baby Your body yes but don't tell someone else false information that could cause them to lose their child early on. alcohol thinks your blood say heaven forbid she was in an accident and her stomach had been hit. her chances are much higher for losing her baby because her blood is thinned. also because it's thinned it can give too much blood to the baby causing the babies heart to over work itself and quit. point blank at no point in pregnant is it okay to drink. @ladyclarkson03 glad you asked the question I am glad you asked before drinking anything. Times have changed since your mom was pregnant sweetie. back then doctors didn't really care as much as they do now. never let anyone tell you it's okay. this early on it can cause miscarriage for you. the first 12 weeks are essential in development of the brain and limbs and heart. any amount of alcohol is highly toxic to your growing baby.
incompetent? right ok...that's funny...you have nothing better to do than to tell people they are wrong so leave me alone thanks @babyhenderson2016
@babyhenderson2016, she is MY child and therefore I created her...I do what I want when I want and nobody will stop me...I never said to get drunk or buzzed I never even told her to drink...I simply said that a very small amount was ok...as in like a small drink or 2 so thank you and have a nice night sweetie
ohhh lord, FAS Is verrry serious. Also what you do may be your choice, but its not just your body. its your child's body also. your child..... @londonsmommy16
@jacesterlingsmommy same going to bed, don't feel like getting in trouble
Oh boy. One of those it's my body it's my choice people. SMH. Yeah that's not right to knowingly do it early on. I surely found out at 4 weeks I was pregnant so I'm not in that statistic. I gotta get off here for the night. These new profile crazy people be something else! @hermommy
@londonsmommy16 yes you are never tell a woman to drink when she knows she pregnant or thinks she is. You do what you want with your baby and body... don't put someone else's at risk
I'm not giving out anything false first off second off what I do with my body while I'm pregnant is my choice
@londonsmommy16 and your point is? Drinking when you KNOW your pregnant is wrong. Did you know that MOST that drink while they're pregnant their children have health issues. FETAL ALCOHOL SYNDROME, enough said I won't argue with you when I'm stating facts and you are not.
@hermommy, how many people actually do find out they are pregnant that early on? Many many people don't find out until they are 6 or more weeks along.....I drank during week 11 and London although not born yet is over healthy
Drinking is not good to do while pregnant at all let alone in the first trimester. It can be detrimental. I know a girl who didn't know she was pregnant for almost 4 months and drank and her child has no arms now. You especially do not want to this early on as limbs and organs are forming. To the person above that said a small amount is ok is coo-koo!
You should never drink while pregnant. you never know how the baby will react and thats not safe on the baby. @ladyclarkson03
My OBGYN said alcohol is NOT safe in the first 12 weeks. After your first trimester a small amount is ok. Not enough to get a buzz.
no don't drink alcohol at all especially not in the first trimester, but you totally shouldn't while pregnant
I'm not gonna drink with a baby growing inside of me. I was just proving a point to my mother, who was trying to get me to drink, that you shouldn't drink while pregnant.
