FTM... no judgement please only help.

I'm looking for advice on bed sharing safely.

Also any advice on trying to get my LO to sleep in his bassinet. I would rather co-sleep but he hates his bassinet and being away from me

I saw this cool thing at target that's called a bed sharing bassinet! It goes in between you and your partner or just beside you in bed so they're in bed with you but still In their own space. I thought the concept was kinda cool! I'm a FTM so I don't have experience with it personally though

@mommacee2be, we slept with her for months in between us and I did what you did as well I'd sleep with her on my chest but in the middle of the bed with pillows on the side of me

@mommyagain, I have no issue with co-sleeping/bed sharing. I just want to do or the best way I can. We are going on week 2 and I want to reduce all the risk I can. He's been sleeping on my chest. :/

Iv cosleept for about 10 months, your mother instincts are always there so even well your asleep your aware of baby. Also always put pillows or something so bubs doesnt fall off the bed (:

If you don't want baby in bed with you you can buy little beds that go in your bed. I had one for my daughter until she grew out of that then I allowed her to sleep next to me. Always between me and hubby and blankets no higher that under her arms. Pillows a good distance from the face.

I called the pediatricians office today to get some advice on the baby’s reflux. It was recommended to have him either sleep in a swing at night or create an incline in his bassinet to help keep the reflux at bay. But I’m worried about his head slouching to the side and cutting off his airways!

iamwhoiam124 My baby has been sleeping in a swing almost all his life. Ya I know it's not
ltee We propped up our bassinet on one side down on the floor because of the flimsy mattress.
mommy2asher @kellynicole How did you know he had reflux. I’m curious if that’s what is going on with

rileysmomma16 I usually lay my daughter on my chest to get her to fall asleep. Once I know
des_farr I've tried that and every time I put her in her bassinet she cries her eyes out

So, any advice on taking care of a sunburnt one and a half year old?? Especially when they are sleeping. My son moves around in his sleep so he didn't sleep much last night. He got burnt on his arms, hands and back😭😣

thebthatdontcare Apple cider vinegar takes the sting out works like a charm
farmers_wife10 When my niece got super bad sunburn last year we soaked baby wash cloths in apple cider
ariesbabe.x Like others have said a vinegar bath is good & also putting coconut oil on it helps
