When is a good time to give my baby water?

@daij, I agree with @dlove2016 my first little girl loved water at 2-3 months old

That's what I did a few sips for hiccups and just when I noticed his mouth was turning white things like that not a every day thing it was @peanuts1mom

I only do a few sips after she gets sick cause I want her belly to settle a little before I feed her anything else but she doesn't get sick often

That's why I gave a lil not even an ounce also cause milk sitting cause thrush a lil never hurt my son or any other mom baby I've spoken to that did a lil water @peanuts1mom but u know right @daij smh they probably had that one mom to fix her baby a whole water bottle and things went wrong so they put it on paper and taught Drs to teach us no water I gave my son not even a ounce just a few sips here and there

I asked my doc and my baby is a month old and she said not for a while yet because it can give them seizures if you give them too much water!

@dlove2016, I know that's right lol. They shouldn't really teach them to read out of a book because that's not how everyone learns

Right cause some Drs really just learn out a book and gotta go by the book but half of them probably do stuff they say for us not too lol I know my cousin is a dr and she does w her baby she said she has to tell her patients otherwise tho or she could lose her job but even she was like it's not gonna hurt him so i did it and my son is 5 now I didn't give him a whole bottle but just a lil and that cereal helped too lol

I never asked the dr anything to be honest with you because they tell you nothing is good even cereal and I gave my son a lil cereal in his bottle as well at maybe 2-3 months old to help him sleep better I honestly just to a lot of advice from my Grandmom and mom

If my son had hiccups as an infant I gave him just a lil and gradually gave him more and more as he got older
