Any other mommies out there, their placenta already thinning.?

No my doctor said my placenta is at stage two which means it's thinning. She said this was my last ultra sound but I figured since that was happening early they would give me more. @sarahdrew

I have never heard of that, learn something new everyday... it sounds kinda scary to me, hope all stays well for you

I'm no doctor but placenta thinning isn't good. that would mean baby is at risk for not getting adequate blood supply and nutrients

@sarahdrew, neither have I.! This is my third child so that could be the reason.

that's crazy I would think they would put you at high risk. I hope everything works out for you

I would be asking about further ultrasounds, I would think they would want to make sure baby is safe

I think you might mean your cervix? My sister is a midwife and she said there's no such thing as placenta thinning only placenta detachment.

@quea, that's what she said I asked my mom & she said she did say that.. About the placenta thinning..
