I think you might mean your cervix? My sister is a midwife and she said there's no such thing as placenta thinning only placenta detachment.

I would be asking about further ultrasounds, I would think they would want to make sure baby is safe

I'm no doctor but placenta thinning isn't good. that would mean baby is at risk for not getting adequate blood supply and nutrients

No my doctor said my placenta is at stage two which means it's thinning. She said this was my last ultra sound but I figured since that was happening early they would give me more. @sarahdrew

your placenta is thinning? are you bleeding?
