What's all this about Johnson and Johnson having cancer causing ingredients?!!! Is it true and what are some healthy affordable alternatives that moms and babies like?
@127lovie, totally understandable! Unfortunately there are way too many cancer causing products/ foods/ and even clothes out there but I personally use Burts Bees. They are absolutely honest with what they use, and if some of their products aren't 100% organic it is written right on the bottle
It's not really "hype" but facts. This company doesn't care about the safety/ wellbeing of your baby. They're all about the money. Which is why I don't recommend whatsoever. Even if they changed the formula, it doesn't change the fact that they hid the bad stuff in your babies soaps for quite some time before mommies started catching on.
@tmariewein, what's a healthy alternative? Thank you for your input. I don't use the best products for myself. And I know almost everything is cancer causing these days. And I can't put my baby in a bubble (even tho I really want too) but I want to protect him from everything that I can.
Also the amounts of so called cancer causing agents was very low and most likely wouldn't cause cancer, but because of people's concerns they promised to change the formula and make it safer. But if it bothers you, you could use the Honnest company products. I love the baby Aveeno, but that's a Johnson and Johnson company. 😏
they have changed the formula of their products. Don't believe the hype. ссылка
Reading ingredients is the absolute BEST way to protect yourselves and your sweet babies!
@jennatess, what do you use instead. They are a pretty gross company. Not gonna lie tho. Their bedtime bath smells really good.
Hey! Liscensed Esthetician here! All products by Johnson and Johnson carry carcinogens in their products. If you look at ingredients, anything that ends in "ate" normally is cancer causing (sulfates, phthalates) as well as parabens, placental extracts, and even formaldehyde. Johnson & Johnson HAS ADMITTED to using these ingredients. While I was in school learning the chemical properties of most cleansers, soaps and moisturizers my professor warned us specifically about this brand. Please don't use it on your babies ladies!
its just the talc in the powder...everything else is ok
