@momofthree2016, aww yay. It's amazing what medicines are out there that can prevent preterm labor ! I'm glad you made it this far! I feel pretty good this time around, and praying he stays put !! Thanks for the prayers! I'll be praying for you as well!

I've gone into preterm labor twice once at 25 weeks, and again at 27 weeks. Been dilated to 1 and 50% effaced since and still the same. Was on magnesium and another medication to stop contractions in the hospital. Bed rest. Procardia at home for contractions and weekly progesterone shots. 34 weeks and still going strong! Prayers your lil one stays put a little longer :)

@kandl, my son who was born at 34 weeks weighed 7lbs 15oz! He'll be 9 in July, and is a big boy! Haha so I'm hoping for the same !

I had preeclampsia when I was pregnant with my 17 month old, and had to deliver her at 33 weeks. She was 6lbs 10ozs and had to be in the NICU for 7 weeks, she was born not breathing, and quit breathing again a week after she was born. Had to be in 3 different hospitals because of different reasons. She has had to have 2 surgeries both for a Mickey button g-tube (feeding tube). She was a little ill for awhile couldn't eat by mouth for awhile. Today she is eating everything you and I would eat and is drinking. We actually go to see her surgeon on the 2nd to see about getting her tube taken out :) good luck Hun I wish the best for you and your little one

@breannaedwards_113, I've been on progesterone since 21 weeks, and my dr wanted me to go on bed rest, but it wasn't an option for me. I've made it pretty far, further than what my doctor thought anyways. My other two were fairly early (earliest at 34 weeks) with no complications at all so my doctor won't be stopping labor at this point. I was just curious what other moms have went through also!

if you do baby is at a stage where he/she should be ok let's just pray you deliver after 37 weeks!

@mrshamilton830, I've always gone early, and I wanted to at least make it to 37 weeks (or beyond) with this one! I'm hoping I won't go into labor anytime soon.

I've been 1 1/2 cm 60% effaced for like ...I've been on bed rest since 24 weeks. went into hospital 3 weeks ago with serious contractions and they gave me magnesium and steroid shots...docs didn't think I'd make it past 6 months and now I'm almost full term.

I was in preterm labor at 31 weeks. 1cm and 80% thinned. I'm 35 weeks now on bed rest and I have to shove a pill in my vagina. I'm now 90% and 2cm.. I don't think I'll go to full term and neither does the doctors

I went over due with my 2nd age him trying to come early
