I feel the same. I respect people's right to believe in what they choose, my daughter is Christian and goes to church with the little girl across the street from us every Wednesday. I've given her the right to choose what she feels is right in her heart. My instinct tells me something different and I don't live a dogmatic life, I feel trapped by religion. I also respect that others may strongly disagree with what I feel is right for my life and I am ok with that. it is because of that I don't go around telling everyone that I find their beliefs to be false, including my own children and it's why I made this post because it needed to be said that maybe people should step outside of themselves for a moment and realize that the were being a bit inconsiderate of the others who use the app. Thanks for your comment and thanks for being so polite. 😊 @jimenez310

I don't feel strongly about religion because I don't believe any of it. It's pretty simple for me. Everyone has the right to think, believe, do what they want with the exception of them pushing their beliefs on me. Just as strong as some one might believe in their god, I'm equally sure there isn't one. That doesn't make me an evil bad person. I have many friends of many belief systems, we just agree to disagree.

Everyone feels so strongly about religion. It makes us who we are as individuals. A post about religion will get many comments and could get heated very fast. It's just because we all feel so strongly about why we believe in what we do or don't believe in. I don't think it's any reason to get all feisty and mean though? "Bye Felicia" "sweetheart" no one was saying anything mean but her and because she's a "bitch at heart" just a little unnecessary when we were all just saying how we feel. None of us were attacking anyone.

I think it's good that people debate about religion, it can open up to a great discussion if everyone is polite but not everyone was polite on here.. Oh well, no harm no foul :) @maybaby2016

This post is controversial though so it was bound to get people offended. I don't care though. I'm definitely not arguing with anyone. I know what I believe in and I will not force anyone to believe what I believe.

I guess we can't have a conversation without someone getting offended. I'm not offended by your post I just don't understand why my beliefs would offend you. That's all I'm saying...nothing else! everyone who has commented on this post took it however they decided to take it, and then wanted to blame me for them being offended. typical. just goes to show you how some people are. I have not once said that people can not express their beliefs or did I ever say I hated Christians and I damn sure didn't create this post for comments or to create an argument. I wasn't stating that y'all hate Christians or that y'all don't pray, I'm just saying a lot of negativity is surrounded around people who believe in Jesus. I guess I worded that wrong. But everyone is different in every religion. I'm Christian but I do not force people to believe in Jesus. I also don't tell people I'll pray for them unless I know they too are religious. But to stereotype all people who believe in Jesus as people who want to force him down your throat/are trying to offend you in any way seems a little ridiculous. @sparklymama @jana.bear and why is this only towards people who believe in Jesus? What about all of the other religions on this app? Obviously the person who posted it is aware of the diverse religions so why aren't they included in this post?

I am Christian but I COMPLETELY agree with you.... there is nothing wrong with sharing your beliefs and, as a Christian, try to help someone find Christ. but the whole, "you need Jesus" thing pisses me off.. it's rude, judgemental and just down right ugly... and the reasons people gate Christians is because 99.9% of then are just judgemental bigots who like to pick and choose what they want to believe out of the Bible. You can be a Christian, and share your love of Christ without making people feel like you are somehow better than them...

People think Christians are out to crucify the world when in reality we are out to crucify ourselves, the old worldly selves that were selfish and wicked in the eyes of God. I can't be worrying about other people when I know I'm screwed up. I share my testimony and my belief in the event that it may help someone find God. You can live a life of disbelief and feel utterly hopeless or you can believe in something greater than yourself. I choose to believe in Christ because I've been thru too damn much to do this on my own. Would I tell you you need Jesus? Maybe as a joke. I would never force my beliefs down your throat like the world would like you to believe.

I never said I was Christian. You assumed that simply because I said I believe in God so that in itself says you have misjudged me because of my belief in God. Actually believing in God is not the breaking point of Christianity. It's the belief of Jesus and His role as Christ, the son of God that differentiates the religions. A lot of religions start out the same but go off on their own paths when it comes to Jesus. @sparklymama

I don't care what people post unless it's a comment to me directly. I have had women leave extremely religious comments on my posts and I just delete the comment and block the person and move on.

@mamabear9456, I think she just means when people say things like "everybody should thank God/Jesus for being pregnant." Some people find that annoying. I just ignore it usually but I do have friends in Utah that are constantly shoving it down my throat. Especially because I lost a baby and I can't tell you how many times I was told "It's God's plan." Which is extraordinarily offensive. It does get old being constantly told "I'll pray for you," etc.

this is the problem with most christians, they constantly try to shove their beliefs down someone else's throat with no exception of the fact that people can have other beliefs. The world is so bent on taking God out of everything 😒 that's the problem with this generation and the generations to come. I wasn't raised around religion but when I found God it was over for me. Nothing was the same. I think we should be allowed to express ourselves. I've seen wiccans on here and even though I don't agree I still am polite and do not make them feel out of place.
