Ana hasn't eaten since 10 last night :/ I think she over ate. But she acts like she wants my boobs (tries to suck them through my shirt and gives me every other sign) but when I give her them she wants nothing to do with them and screams til we give her her pacifier.. What should I do?! I might try to pump today and try a bottle bc I'm desperate ... And if that doesn't work I'm gonna give her some formula.. She needs to eat...

@lexilulu, it does too but the lactation nurse said not to for 4 weeks :/ I'm asking the nurse when she gets here because it's frustrating. But she's super quiet and content for some reason
I haven't been in your position yet but I think trying to pump and using a bottle seems like a good idea

My husband's sil has covid. She's obviously quarantining in her house but is still loving on her kids and husband. I'm sorry but if I had it I would lock myself in a room.

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know

I hate doing this to her but I really don't want her to suck her fingers. She sucks the middle and index finger. She refuses any pacifier I give her. She already has one tooth at the bottom and I don't want her to be sucking them when the top ones come in. The doctor said it's a phase and it'll pass but I'm afraid she won't and spoil her teeth. Did any of your kids just stopped by themselves or did you have to do this?
It seems like she wants the boob... Try to put her on as much as possible so you don't lose your milk. If you're serious about breastfeeding see if there is a support group by you, best decision I ever made!
