our ideal plan, is that the midwife helps Jonathan catch the baby and she immediately goes on my chest for an hour for skin to skin and breastfeeding. then after that hour when they do her weight and testing and all that if she doesn't need to nurse for a little bit, I'll be going to do a sitz bath and he'll be doing skin to skin with her while I'm doing my sitz... @rockysmommy, me to because I definitely didn't have it with my first I saw her for 10 mins then they took her to nicu I didn't get to hold her for the first time till she was 5days old
