Honestly, bumbos are developmentally inhibiting and pediatricians advise against them.

Yes I would say the bumbo is too much at that age, it's okay if you hold the baby upright though, my girl would cry and lean until we held her sitting upright at only 3 weeks of age and she is so ahead with all her milestones! I think at 2 months we were able to lean her against the boppy pillow, she could hold her head but couldn't hold her upper body straight by herself yet....she was sitting up for a few minutes at a time by herself by 4 months though, so probably would be okay around 4 or 5 months depending on how strong your lil one is 😊

Welcome hun. I never owned one. Even jumpers can be a problem if used too often. We use a jumper(exersauser) sometimes but he loves to actually explore! 😊👍🏻

@mommastone, same here, we never had any of those things, we had a "bouncer" that she sat in and had toys to play with, but it didn't bounce....we just held her and interacted with her a lot and put her on the floor to practice rolling and scooting and eventually crawling, she actually learned to pull up to a stand about a week before she got used to crawling on hands and knees instead of just commando style LOL

We also barely ever put her in that "bouncer", only sometimes to make the in laws happy cuz they bought it haha
