lol mine told me nothing at all except water because it makes it harder to move around stuff in there. and because you can choke on it if you throw up during surgery. I threw up liquids. but if you go in like in the afternoon something like a bagel or maybe something small a salad or crackers. just if you do I' wouldn't eat like a full meal just a snack

Humm. well I think if you ate something before later in the afternoon you should be fine. and fruits are mainly water so they would be a good choice. just don't get full. eat enough to make you not starve lol . (: oh yeah and my doctor told me if your belly is full like you ate on the way to hospital or something they will give you an enama and I'm sure you don't want that. yuckkk
