did any mommies take the flu shot I just took mines ?
@mrz.love, when did you get it - like today? (We stop giving out flu vaccines at the beginning of April because the season is usually over by now. So I'm just curious) And yes I got mine last year.
@tarateller2010, actually, that's why they recommend getting the flu shot.
@mrz.love, exactly, I just didn't want to chance it with my girls being premature. I won't with this baby either. You can have the flu days before the test will come out positive as well
I know that's right babies get sick to easy @boenischpartyof5
wow okay thanks mommies I have never had the flu with r with out the shot
Most people who get the flu shot and say they get the flu because of it, don't actually have the flu. A common cold can have the same signs as the flu and that's what people get and just self diagnose themselves with the flu. I also made everyone who came in frequent contact around me and my newborns have it as well or they weren't going to be holding them
I get it but I also get the flu if I don't (I've been tested for flu so I know that's what it is), and twice its landed me in the hospital with symptoms of pneumonia.
@tarateller2010, I've never had one & never will. Never had the flu either.
I'm scheduled to get mine tomorrow but I'm not cause every time I get one I get very sick behind it
I'm with you @theinkedmommy you aren't really supposed to get it while your pregnant cause of the immune suppression that happens when your pregnant idk that's what Drs have told me @mrz.love
I got it and never again. I've been sick 4 time my whole pregnancy with the flu. This was my first time getting it in my life and even with my other pregnancies never got sick my husband got it with me and also been sick alot
Yes when I was pregnant I did. The flu shot itself cannot give you the flu. If you get the flu it's because you already had it, seeing it takes a few days to show symptoms.
Nope i didn't my friend did and she got sick like a few day's later @mrz.love
Hmm that's weird...
