What's everyone's opinion on tv time for their little ones? My son is almost 7 months and I haven't 'allowed' him tv, except for a couple times this past month where I knew I would be shunned from society if I didn't shower lol

@annawesomelife i tried so hard to teach my daughter her abcs and how to count but she wasn't getting it. she learned from my ipod using ABCmouse.. i highly recommend it.. i use to play the songs for her when she was a little over a yr and now she interacts completely on her own.. she learned abcs 123s colors shapes and shes currently learning to sound out words.. you should get it for baby!

@kattastrophe, one night when my husband was working nighttime I tried to put on whinnie the pooh, the original movie, for us to watch and he lasted less than 10 minutes, we had to find other stuff for entertainment. Meanwhile I was really feeling it lol

@annawesomelife, that's pretty darn adorable really, I think it's cute when babies get their own quirky schedules. Educational tv is definitely a blessing our parents didn't have hAha

@mommybug, if that works for the two of you then continue doing it! Plus that baby is like a big baby (3 years) versus a little baby so that does made a big difference.

my daughter is 7 months and doesn't show much interest in TV for more that 10 minutes. she's a busy body lol... I would probably let her watch a show or two a day when older. it would be hypocritical of me to say no TV because her dad is a TV addict and I watch my shows while she naps

my 3yr old watches 2hrs total a day.. she watches 2 shows.. each show plays for 30 mins twice a day... but in between shows she finds outta things to do.. sometimes I feel like it's too much but compared to when she wakes up in the morning and the space between each episode . i don't feel like it's too much..

I watch two movies a week with my daughter and I love it. She loves musicals. She dances and sings. Movie time is the only time she's in front of the tv for a long period of time

Ideally I would like to wait until he's 1 year also, especially with the summer coming up hopefully we'll be outside most of the day! @amaperalta03 I must admit though I am pretty excited to have movie nights lol

I didn't let my daughter watch tv till she was 1. And now she's 17 months and has a 45 minute a day tv limit. It's up to you love on what you feel is best.

Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

Idk if this is a little to harsh but my stepson is 2 and 7 months now the time outs are not working so I stepped it up a little and decided to take all toys away and tv away for whatever he has left of the day till bed time. Gets it taken for hitting us or throwing toys or kicking... He kicked me right in the mouth last night so he didn't get his toys till after nap and no cartoons and thats around 4pm is this to much??
