Not dilated. Almost 37 weeks and I feel like I'm making absolutely no progress. Lol

I wasn't either at 37 weeks.. at 38 I started to think out at 39 I was a 1-2 and at 40 weeks I was a little more thinned out and still a 1-2 I got induced at 41 weeks and had a 19hour labor and delivery and it went rather smoothly, but my baby was sitting very low and my cervix was very soft and low lying...

He said today my cervix isn't even low yet. Lol my husband has to leave town four days after my due date. I really hope I don't go past it! But hey, it is what it is. Lol @aphrodite2014

@brooklyn0516, mine wast either and one day I woke up with the worst hip pains ever and it lasted all day and into the night just before 40 week appointment, and at my 40 week appointment it was finally really low. so don't get too concerned.. and if it's your first you could go past. my doctor was going to let me go 2 weeks past my due date, and I wasn't having it so at 41wk 2 days I was induced and 41wk 3days he was born

@aphrodite2014, oh that's good news then! Thanks for giving me hope ☺️ my dr said I can be induced right at 40 if I want. I'd just much rather avoid it if I can. Lol

with my 1st, on Wednesday my doctor told me that we have time (only 1cm,some pressure,no other symptoms) she was saying that we probably have to wait till after weekend, but next day Thursday (my due date) my son was born, so my advice don't stress out, sometimes it's take less than 24h from when symptoms starts to when you have your baby

I was the same way. Didn't progress till I was 40 weeks. Maybe the little one wants to stay in for a while 😊

@brooklyn0516, my induction was not near as bad as everyone makes them out to be. the cervadil medication made my contractions really strong and close together, but once I got the epidural I progressed because my body was able to relax and let it happen. my induction from start to finish was 19hours and most of it I spent sleeping..
