Trying to breast feed this baby is so stressful.. She refuses to latch on... And she cries bc she can't get anything out :/ I don't want her to go hungry.. Might just stop all together and go to formula since I'm going on it at 6 months anyways idk I just don't feel like it's for me 😔 any suggestions..?

Her stomach is only the size of an almond.. They fill up on a few drops. The more she sucks the faster your milk will come in. Make sure to meet with the lactation consultant. No pacifiers either, as soon as she fusses latch her onto your nipple!
@sally565, not yet I'm supposed to get one with my insurance so we will see. She latches on to a nipple shield but it just doesn't seem like she's getting anything :/ but she's been spitting up and cough/sneezing a lot so maybe she's getting something? 😩@kathmasa i might just pump and feed her that way cuz of how she latches on to the nipple shield
1. Remember she doesn't know how to 2. Be patient . 3.you can do it . 4. Trying to serching for help with a breastfeeding consultant . I went yesterday and she helping me with the position, no every baby can latch in the same position . So continue try and dont be encouraged . You can do it 😁😁

I swear sometimes I just need to renew my policy to not look at the comments in Facebook. I never used to. I don't know why I started. But the ignorance is real.
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

@sev1226, she sucks 2x and brings her head back but the lactation consultant suggested skin to skin before feeding so we will see I just hope I can get her to latch on with out asking a nurse for help before I go home tomorrow
