Anyone here breastfeeds a baby who has a lip and or tongue tie? Did you get it fixed? or has breastfeeding gotten better? My LO is gaining weight well but some days it hurts when nursing. Also my nipples are getting bruised again. Any advice?

rainbowbaby15 i seen a lactation consultant and she helped a little. she showed me a position that's abt it.
my friends little boy was tongue tied and she had it fixed and he's latching and able to eat a lot better now. He couldn't latch really at all before
She'd have to get a referall to an ent from her pediatrician
I seen some girl post earlier that she seen a breastfeeding consultant and it helped a lot. I'd look into your local hospital and see if they have any there
Getting it fixed will help. Ties can affect baby in adulthood as well
