I have to pump only because baby will not latch but my supply is going down help

Keep trying to get baby to latch that's the only thing that helped my supply I had the same issue with my Lo when he was born and I just kept trying tickling his chin and his cheek when trying to nurse him helped me to get him to latch also when I would use nipple shields then once he latched and was nursing good I Would slowly slid the nipple shield off and try to get him to keep nursing some times I would have to put it back on but after a few times of putting on and slowly sliding it off after awhile he finally got to the place where he would just latch on without shield! And now it's been 18 months strong breastfeeding and no issues at all! I'm expecting another baby in less then 4 weeks and I'm trying to wean him off and it's been hard cuz he loves to nurse!! And I would keep doing it but he don't need it no more and my new baby is going to need all the milk!
