When is a good time to contact your insurance company about whether or not you get a free breast pump? First time mommy!

@mrsclellan, I assume but you have to call and ask them but it won't be on their own LOL you have to make the move to call and tell them

@mrsclellan not all of them, definitely call yours and ask and then what you'll need to do sometime soon

usually right before you give birth or right after but you can try to process it online and See if it goes through I did mine through pumpingessentials.com

ask. I know tricare will give you a free pump or you can buy one and they reimburse you. I ended up getting one at another hospital for free cause my baby was premie

I have blue cross, they paid for a pump my last baby. I got mine in the hospital, the lactation consultant took care of all the insurance stuff for me.
