i plan on breastfeeding but in case that doesn't work out. what's better formula Enfamil or Similac?!?

I'm using Similac Advance. That's what my hospital gave me and I've used it for my daughter ever since.

At the hospital if breastfeeding isn't successful, they'll give you the formula they think is best for your baby, I had similac neosure cause they were preemies

I'm hoping he just surprises me and decides to come now!

no worries, baby will eat regardless and that's what's important but don't think the hospital one is necessarily the best, they just have a contract with certain companies to supply their product ;) good luck breastfeeding!

@marienoelle, @jaycee17 that's true I guess it does all depend on your baby. Depending if they take to one better or not or the same.

@izamarpink, yeah my Drs office just gave me Similac but my sister in law uses Enfamil. So I was like hmm which is better

It's whatever is best for you baby. Similac didn't sit well with my daughters tummy so we used emfamil but my best friends daughter was allergic so they used similac. You'll figure out what's best for you and your baby.

I'd look up online anecdotes and ask the pediatrician that visits your baby after you give birth, or your lactation consultant. they'll encourage you to do everything physically possible to successfully breastfeed because it's best, even though it's hard and painful, but if you need supplementation via formula they'll send you home usually with a little container of a good one. you never know which brand works best for your baby til you try, lots of babys digest them differently or could be allergic.
