Me and my bf currently stay with his mom because money is really tight. Yesterday he was in the shower and I was in his room. Well his mom had the baby in the living room and I overhead her giving her baby food. I JUST started introducing baby food to her and I made a big deal about it to my bf who in turn texted her later that day and she made a big fuss saying how she raised 2 kids and if I have a problem with it I can leave etc. My main problem was she didn't know when or even if I wanted to give her baby food at that time and if I wanted to give her that type. She hadn't asked beforehand and when she brought the baby back in the room she said nothing to me about giving her anything so I wouldn't have even known if I hadn't heard. My bf thinks I should bite my tongue since she's practically letting us stay there for free. Am I overreacting? 🤔

@carlitojrmami That's exactly why I didn't say anything directly to her and I told him to, I definitely don't want any drama like that. He's still a mama's boy though I can't wait til we move out then hopefully things will calm down

@london1010, yes girl just because she acts like a bitch doesn't mean you need to be one back trust me I had to learn to hold myself and let my hubby handle his family . if I was to go and be rude just like them then it can cause problems in my marriage because I'm disrespecting his family . I'm good with his family now tho it was just the Lil things when I stayed with his mom .

Well I said practically for free, he pays 200 for the light bill and we always buy little stuff like detergent, trash bags, etc because she rarely does. We also always stay in his room except to shower, wash our own dishes and everything so it's like we not even there @carlitojrmami but you're right I can try to get him to talk to her

No ! What if baby was allergic & she didn't even tell u she fed baby the food ! Girl I would have been packing and out my in laws tried to give my baby when she was 3 months a cookie a real hard cooking for coffee I was PISSED my daughter didn't eat gerber !

Living there for free or not, doesn't give any right to do whatever she pleases with your child. That's your child and what you say should go. End of story. Your child, your rules.

no she should of asked but however you are living there for free . I would of just talk to my man about it and ask him to talk to his mom

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs!
