curious on how many diapers to get...how many packages of newborns to start or boxes and how many size 1? I get that it all depends how their size but I have to start somewhere. I can't just not have any diapers when he comes home.
I just saw a thing recently that said it's good to get 1 box of newborns, two boxes of size 1, 3 boxes of size 2.
I ask because I recently had mine and I had a diaper raffle and got so many diaper all the way up to a size 6
My son was 7 lbs 8 oz when born and he was in size 1 when he was about a month old. He's still in size one and he's 4 months old now!
to start out with just buy 1-2 pks of newborns. my daughter was 6.2 when she was born so she was in them for almost 2 months. it really does depend on size. maybe 3-4 size ones. I go to Sam's and buy the cases though.
I was told to get like 1-2 packs of newborn diapers. I brought 3 packs of size 1 , 2 cases of size 2 and 4 packs of size 3..
I only have two of the packs of newborns because u will get some at hospital and unless they are preemie they won't be in long. size one they are in quite longer to start with I have 2 huge boxes of size one. but don't open any of the diaper packs except when u are going to use them that day because unopened u can bring back and change out even without a receipt for the size u need.
My son was born 3/24 and he's still in NB. No one got any for me lol. I have tons of 1-3 boxes. He was 6lbs 8oz at birth. His first couple weeks he wore preemie diapers.
