We didn't have many people officially RSVP to any of our 3 showers and lots were at all 3

I didn't get more then 5 rsvp and like fifteen ppl showed up!

He doesn't want me to, he thinks it'll be fun. But it is just stressing me out, haha. It would be different if someone else was throwing it for me like how showers should be. But apparently no one cares about me enough to do that so I decided really last minute that I would do one myself. But we already have pretty much everything we need for the baby so I'm not doing it because we need stuff or anything. I just don't see why cancelling would be a big deal @jacesterlingsmommy

Well you do what you think is best. Just don't want you to regret it later. If you have almost everything I say go for it. Don't feel bad at all. It's your day! But I do understand your concern and frustration. What does your boyfriend think about cancelling?

oh okay gotcha! don't cancel though! not a lot of people go off of the registery. or at least mine they didn't. enjoy the day! don't stress no matter many people show up:)

Yeah we pretty much have everything, just not food which I was gonna buy tomorrow. I just feel so blah about it 😔 especially cause I've spent so much money on it and I don't think people will show. My bf started on all the gift bags though and they actually look really good so now I feel bad @jacesterlingsmommy

Don't cancel. Do you already have what you need to throw it?! I don't want you to cancel, I was excited for pictures. Just take a breath mama. As far as the registry goes only 2 of my 30 people bought something off the 3 I did. Everyone else bought what they wanted. If I was attending a shower I'd definitely rsvp and buy off registry. People can just be plain rude :/

@littlemissrainesmommy and I just looked and it looks like only like 3 things have been bought off my registry. So I think I'm just gonna cancel :/

People definitely don't take the RSVP thing seriously anymore. Like two people RSVP'd back for mine and a lot of people showed. Only like two people paid attention to my registry as well 🙄🙄 I'd say don't cancel because it's more than likely people will show. Also, you deserve it. 🤗

@mommybump2016 I would but I haven't had a Facebook for over 5 years now and my boyfriend isn't using his because we don't want his family to know about the shower/when the baby is born. (They're cut out of our lives)

@jacesterlingsmommy I mean I don't have to have a head count or anything like you did, I'm just having it at my parents house. But the only family I have coming is my grandma, and who knows if she will show. My sister lives in North Carolina so she and her man can't come. But we mostly invited friends and past co workers

I'm sure you will have people there:) just post a "reminder" or a " I can't wait" post on fb about your shower so ppl will remember! I would make around 15 party bags:) and if more people show up I'm sure they will be okay with not getting one. maybe have like a candy bowl out too

Yeah I did mine by myself too, and sooooooo much food got wasted.. like that money could've went to buying the things my daughter needed that everyone else refused to buy..

@mommybump2016 mostly friends, co workers, people like that. My bf and I used to work for the same company (Apple) so we invited a lot of our mutual friends/past co workers from there. Then my grandma and a couple of my moms friends who I honestly don't even want there lol, but yeah mostly just friends.

People are so rude about the RSVP thing. I had some rsvp then not even show up. I know you want this shower. Even if no one shows up do it for yourself. Don't you have any family coming? Mine was all family. Then I had people who begged for an invite just to not even come, like wtf. Just make what you feel appropriate and if more show up too stinkin bad on them for not letting you know. I was stressed because people weren't saying anything and I had to have a head count for the restaurant.
