I have gd and I'm getting induced at 38 weeks because he's measuring bigger.

my first was elective and my second will be too.. that is if I make it to my induction date on the 27th. my body and my baby are both is good condition for it. I'm already @ 4cm & 70% effaced.

@lilybug, well I was monitored in the l&d area for about 3 to 4 hours than they would check my blood pressure til it was low enough for me to go home

I was 8 weeks overdue.

Had an infection, high fever, baby high heart rate. Woke up with a fever that morning and had baby that night. Tested positive for gbs. She was 3 weeks early :( but extremely healthy!!

They'll monitor you if you do have it. I'm doing my pee test all day tomorrow and 2 times next week

@lilybug, I'm worried I might have it. I had protein in my urine an did a 24hr urine collection but they mislabeled so now I might have to re do it. I wish they could tell without doing a 24hr urine collection

Preeclampsia I have it

there are tons of different reasons though, lots can happen sometimes the body won't go into labor on it own and I'm sure there are multiple other medical things other samoan have went through that can answer I only know the ones I listed bc I freaked out and asked my ob

@ang20 I'm not sure, I'm pretty sure it's if baby is getting to big or if you cant control hyou sugars then baby is safer out than in

my first was maternal instinct I flipped out and turned out my son had alot of meconium in his water and my Dr said she didn't know what would have happened to him in another day of staying in my belly. my second was I had SPD and was in so much pain she had to come out so I think everyone is different

@hermommy, With gd is it only if you're on insulin an can't keep the levels good?

I was 4 cm already when I went In then they asked if I wanted to just be induced to help me dilate faster so I did and 19hrs later my daughter was finally here I regret it I feel like I should a just let my body do it naturally

@ang20, My daughter was measuring 3 weeks behind, so they thought her placenta wasn't working. Which if that would've been the issue (it wasn't) she was better out than in.

some just asked but preeclampsia is a big one also GD or intrauterine growth restrictions
