Help Mommies!!!!! My baby is 2 days old and tonight she was nibbling at my bra so I took out my breast too see what she would do and she started to suck on it but I didn't see anything come out. Is it too late if I wanted to breastfeed to start?
@kaylamcclellan, Thank you I'm going too learn more and give it a try.
If she is only 2 days old your milk prob hasn't come on yet so she will getting colostrum.
@tahtahme, @courtneywarner @anap1012 Thank you guys so much i'm going too try it.
you will see her jaw move and her throat swallow. She will seem satisfied. As your milk comes in, you will see the milk as well. She is just drinking colostrum right now which is very filling for her. Eventually you will be able to tell when your breasts are empty.
she is young so it is normal for her to only suck for a moment! she has the tiniest little walnut tummy that fills up so fast the first days!
Just go for it it maybe very successful
If you hear her swallowing and you might feel a let down. It kind stings and it may or may not hurt.
@anap1012, @tahtahme How do I know if anything came out? She fell asleep after I did it. She was sucking so comfortably and I decided I want to do it.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
