^ I don't want to sound like a bitch, but if you have a history of pregnancy complications that's more of a reason to go in. If they're not just Braxton hicks, you've tried drinking water and relaxing and they're getting worse you should go in. Not sure if they can take you in to labor and delivery (at my hospital the L&D won't see pregnant women until 20 weeks) but you should either call your OB, or the hospital and explain your previous pregnancy history and see if they can check you out.
I don't want to go in!!!!! I had pre eclampsia with my first one and I'm so scared that it's happening again... but my BP has been ok
call either the on call doctor or call labor and delivery, you may have to go to the er
If you can't get them to go away go in. Contractions this early could be very dangerous.
I'd lay on my left side for a bit but if they've lasted for more than an hour call your OB & go ahead to the hospital or call ahead
@kaitie, I wouldn't try and ignore this early! Sit down drink water and within an hour if it doesn't go away go in!
it could be Braxton hicks. how long has it been going on? if it continuous ide talk to your OB or go to the E.R just in case you and baby need to be monitored.....
that's what I thought... this is my second baby.. I'm just trying to ignore it for now just cleaned the house and about to go take a bath hopefully they stop if not ima call
well just called they said just take tylenol and go in if it gets any worse
