Hopefully yours comes with the gel. Mine did but I read some people say theirs didn't. When I ran out I used aloe gel. My baby's heartbeat was always right at my pelvic bone for a long time too. Now it's onky moved up a couple inches but he's head down too. Good luck :)

That's the one I have. It works good. Never had a problem with it. Not quite as powerful as one at doctors office but I'm sure theirs are way more expensive but for what it costs it gave me piece of mind. Keep in mind it may be hard to find a heartbeat before 12 weeks so don't freak out. I got mine around then and had trouble finding it, even at 33 weeks it can still be difficult. Theres also youtube videos if you're unsure of how to distinguish baby's heartbeat from your own or placenta.
