how do I know if I'm producing milk? my boobs are definitely heavier.. but how will I know if I'm getting milk or not?

Milk comes a few days after baby is born

oh okay I didn't know that lol I thought like we start producing during the pregnancy.. but when she's born what will I feed her till it comes in I REALLY don't want to for formula but if I have to I will.. @bellahali

You'll start leaking if it's alot. If not, your boobs will just grow. Most women don't produce milk until after they give birth. usually anything before is colostrum.

colostrum is what she'll eat before the actual milk comes in. Shell have a tiny tummy so that's all she needs for a few days.

^ exactly what @scc2413 said. Colostrum will come out but some women don't have that till baby is born. Totally normal! My milk came 3 days after baby was born

colostrum is the nectar of the gods. at the beginning they only eat a teaspoon at a time. and that stuff is jammed packed with goodness
