Any mums got any tips on breastfeeding? I have been breastfeeding only since my baby was born, which is 4 weeks tomorrow. Didn't have much support at the hospital at all, however been getting on with it well till last few days, he keeps 'nipple feeding' and making me sore, in aware he's doing this and know how he should latch on but struggling with it as well as my size and shape breasts. Really stressing me as I'm sore, seeing the health visitor Wednesday so can speak to her then, and I know baby is getting enough milk as he put on 15oz on in a week. Thanks 😊

That's same as what Caleb does. If he gets overtired he doesn't know what he wants to do and fusses won't feed or settle I sing to him and rock him stood up. I thought about a dummy as when he wakes up in his basket he struggles to soothe himself without me, he sleeps better in our bed but I'm trying not to let him @winterbaby95 xx

I haven't given Maya a dummy yet :) I don't think she really needs one. She is happy and content without one :) It is not a struggle to get her to settle(Unless she is over tired) but I just rock her..sing to her..until she has calmed down and ready to go back on the nipple..and then she has a little drink and zonks out xx

@emorleyx My girl had 2 bottles of expressed milk( 1 at 5 days old and another at 6 days old) And I didn't give her a bottle since. I tried her again a few weeks back and now she won't take the bottle. She screws up her face in disgust like I am giving her something really nasty to eat lol! So if you are planning to express...I would try it sooner than later xx

My cousin is a breastfeeding support worker and tbh she helped me loads...she gave me lanolin cream I use it sometimes but will try more, and yes I usually put my finger in corner of his mouth? As he seems to bite down on my nipple with his gums😖 hospital gave me a nipple shield but they look too big and I panicked about him not being established enough as I want to express occasionally too, I have plenty of milk but my HV told me if it's too early for dummies/bottles/shields can struggle with latching on breast after? Another week or so we said we will try expressed milk see how he goes but I still really want to feed him myself :( xx

Maybe try a nipple shield? Did your midwife/HV show you how to unlatch them if the latch is wrong? Use Lanolin cream inbetween feeds..it works wonders! xx

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday…

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
