I have an appointment Friday to check my cervix. How dilated should I be and what does effaced mean? I will be 36 weeks on Saturday

Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Things I never thought I'd say... Until I became a mom:
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Yeah some women are none and some are more. When I was 36 weeks I was 1 1/2 cm and stayed that way til 38 now I'm only 2 cm.

you're not expected to be dialated. if you are that's great though. some women dialate sooner than others. effacement is how thin your cervix is. so dialated is how wide. efface is how thin.
I didn't dialate until I was 39 weeks but I was 80 percent efface since 37 weeka

there is no set amount to be dilated... I wasn't at all at 39 weeks I was still thick and closed
