How necessary is a bottle warmer? I plan to breastfeed. I'm going to pump and freeze, hopefully. FTM didn't know what was easiest or best way to heat up stored breast milk. What about while traveling? I saw a bottle warmer that plugs into the cigarette lighter. Would like to bottle feed while out and about.
Yeah I was just looking at like a $20 one. @holalatina
If you do decide to purchase one. Don't buy one that's 40 or 50 dollars I have one because it was a gift so I didn't pay for it
Ok that's easy enough @holalatina
thanks for the chart @showersoverflowers
It's not necessary at all but I have one. When I go to work and my husband keeps him I pump milk out in the morning and stick it in the fridge. When my son is ready to eat my husband warms them in the warmer. But of course warm water works just fine.
Or is it bad or the end of the world if it's cooler than room temp and I can't find a place to warm it up? Sorry for all the questions. I've taken care of lots of babies but they've all been formula fed.
Ok thanks ladies. I'll just save the money. I figured I'd just use the warm water and call it good. I mostly didn't know how long it'd last at room temp if I took some and went to dinner or shopping. Is it OK or best to take it frozen and let it thaw if I know I won't be using it immediatley while out and about? I'm assuming as long as it doesn't get too warm and obviously go over the time that it's good for? Should I get one of those insulated bottle bags? @henrysmommy @mam426 @surpriseme @andiryan93 @zandernix2015
I wish there was a bottle warmer that took batteries lol my son has so many drs appointments and ii have to drive 1 hour to the specialists so I take frozen milk and its hard to find places to warm a bottle but if im just going to town I pump a fresh bottle and take it with me bc its good at room temperature for 6 hours some say ten but I dont go over 4
Warm water works great with frozen breast milk.
I had one and used it maybe once or twice. pot of boiling water was quicker.
Do I really need a :
- Diaper genie
- wipe warmer
- bottle warmer
- lanolin nipple cream
- bottle sterilizer
bottle warmer
Hey moms. It's necessary at daycare to have a bottle warmer. I put one on my registry, but if I'm gonna be a stay at home mom, is it necessary?
What the hell has happened on here? What with all the drama, all I have managed to find is that someone has said somebody is lying about being pregnant wtf ...... What the hell is going on 😐
Question...what if I need a wee while I'm in labour? as in about to push??
I'll more than likely skip it.
