a new fun problem I'm having, at night when I'm in bed since I can't roll over, I wake up whenever I have to switch sides because whatever side I'm laying on gets so incredibly sore. But aside from that, I notice I wake up all night every night to one or both of my hands being numb and tingly, whether or not I'm laying on that arm or not. Anyone else have this problem? So in turn the joints in my fingers feel super sore and swollen, it's annoying! 😠
Reading this I was like somebody is living my life! Lol. Everything you described is my night EVERY night. I lay on one side and my hip starts to hurt my hand falls asleep so I flip over, takes me 5 minutes to get to the other side because of pure pain and discomfort, then the same happens to the other side. I'm back and forth all night. I definitely feel your pain!
@emkasting, I got it at Whole foods there are special one to use as body oil, it smells strong but it helps in my country we use eucalyptus for many things
@molshito my mom has some eucalyptus oil but it's the kind she uses in an oil burner, would that work or is it a different kind that I have to use? It's like super super strong smelling
@jorguss21 that's something I've been desperately trying but I always wake up with them bent! My body will not cooperate lol
I shop at whole foods! @molshito one of my favorite stores!
@emkasting, I dont know if you have whole foods or mother's market in your state but If not maybe look on amazon
Me too! @twinmama_navywife it really sucks. I always wake up when I have to switch sides but after a certain time of night both sides are so sore that I have to lay on my back for a while, which worries me since I'm not supposed to!
Totally normal! What has really helped me is trying to sleep with my wrist straight as well. If I bend them or my arm it will go numb! Used to scare the crap outta me but doc said it was normal!
I always wake up and my hips are soar af... It's terrible.
Thank you! I'll definitely try that @levismommy2014. @twinmama_navywife also my fingers are the most swollen part of my body. Ugh!
Sometimes Wal-Mart has it in the pharmacy isle.
@molshito @levismommy2014 thank you ladies! I'm glad to know it's at least not abnormal. Where can I find eucalyptus oil? :)
it happened to me on previous pregnancies and it happened at the beginning of this pregnancy..and now its starting again....i thought it was normal
I've had the same thing happen with all three pregnancies my doctor said it's from where my body settles and the baby positions itself onto a nerve. Only way I've found that fixes it is to move around a little.
I have the same problem my doctor told me that is carpal tunnel, The median nerve gives sensation to the thumb and the index, middle, and half of the ring finger and is responsible for movement of a muscle at the base of the thumb. Pressure on this nerve causes the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome. I try to massage my hands before to sleep wirh eucaliptus oil it helps😉
I have. Happens to me all the time. My hand an arm will fall asleep even if I'm not laying on it. I could be holding something for to long an my hand falls asleep. An my joints are always sore.
I have a doc appointment this week so I was gonna bring it up then for sure..maybe you're right about carpel tunnel, I don't know anything about it either though. Just wondering if anyone else may have experienced the same thing
I've heard of women having poor circulation and carpal tunnel in pregnancy but I have no knowledge of that being true. maybe try web md or Google. call your doctor tomorrow and see what they say
every time I wake up in the middle of the night I'm laying on my back but when I go back to sleep I lay on my sides. I know laying on your back is bad.. so will that effect the baby or anything?
So last night I was laying down and I went to sit up and it felt like someone was stabbing me. And then last night I wanted to switch sides I was laying on so I rolled over and got the pain again. Is it cause I'm using my stomach muscles to do those things or what?😣😣😣
I’m so tired but I can’t sleep. Every time I lay the baby down he wakes up after like 10 minutes. 😴
Sleeping position when pregnant
I try to fall asleep on my left side but always wake up on my back or on my right side, is it really that bad not to be on my left?, I have horrible SPD and it's so uncomfortable on my left side so I must be turning in my sleep x
Does any one else have the problem where your baby daddy takes over the whole bed and you can't sleep??? uuugh!!!! I'm so fed up with it lol I feel like buying him a separate bed I wake up with a sore back. not the business! 😈😴😡😟
Yep that's exactly what happens! It's so frustrating isn't it! @kamiyahj
