for anyone who's had braxton hicks what does it feel like? I'm having really bad cramps in my lower back and absolutely nothing is helping. if I hunch over its relieved a little but as soon as I lay on my side again it comes back really bad
Could be round ligament! That hurts bad too. The stretches don't help me at all because I have a super flexible back so using the stretching positions don't even stretch the muscles for me 😕 @bodaciousb6
Some nights I take more than one bath -- it's the only way to relieve the pain long enough to fall asleep. I would say just have your bf rub it some more and try sleeping with a pillow between your legs.
I'm 23 weeks took with my first baby! when is your due date? @ryleysmommy816
I have had my stomach do that but it hurts my back. but that has only only happen once. and I think I was because I had sex. @sarahb518 maybe it is round ligament! hurts so bad!
I think it's just bad back pain too, just worried of course and don't want to rush to the ER if it's nothing to worry about. I'm afraid to take too much Tylenol so I just took one 500mg and a warm bath. Doesn't help that when I was at a birthday party earlier got hit right in the spot my backs been hurting with a soccer ball :/ @sarahb518
it's okay I appreciate as much help as possible, my bf got a warm bath ready for me and rubbed my back while I was in there, it helped while I was in there but now it's coming back. if it gets any worse I'll be calling my OB or going in. I'm only 23 weeks and it's my first so I don't know what to do or what to expect. I appreciate both of the help and advice from you ladies! @bodaciousb6 @aidensmommy
Braxton hicks is when your whole stomach becomes hard for 20-30 seconds and then stops. They aren't usually painful, just uncomfortable, like hard to breathe. It sounds like you are just having bad back pain. I have it constantly and have to have my back massaged, too. It's just from the extra weight that your back is having to support from baby. Try heating pads and warm baths. You can also take Tylenol to see if it helps ( although Tylenol doesn't help my back pain). Hope you find something that works to relive the pain
no way! I'm due august 12th! @bodaciousb6
