I've learned that I should never ask questions. I've been left in the dark about what is going on with my baby and now I know why. Doctors don't want to invest time and effort into a baby less than 22 weeks because their is a slim to no chance of survival in the 20s weeks gestation. Looks like I have to wait until May 31st to get real answers and pray everything is fine between now and then. I wish it was like the old days when you just went to the dr to deliver a baby. It won't matter what "problems" She has. She is mine. I have promised to care for and love her. End of story. No matter what. Just frustrated with Dr decisions...

yes thats pretty much all it means is that baby can be smaller (my mom had it with me and i came out 7 11) so not all babies are born small. yes so just relax can't believe they didnt tell you that. your baby willl be fine just might be on the small side;) @b80andbabyasma

my daughter had a 2 vessel cord and severe iugr (intrauterine growth restriction ) every 4 weeks they measured her growth they said they wouldnt let me go past 38 weeks. i started having contractions and was leaking fluid and had her at 35+4 she was 4 pounds 6 ounces:) @b80andbabyasma

She is only getting 1/2 her blood. She has a 2 vessel cord. Just to fill everyone in on the situation. The only thing that they can do is evict her at some point when she stops growing but all I really want to know is the plan of care since I have 4 other kids in the equation.

If they aren't taking care of you and answering your questions you could technically sue them for negligence. I'd switch doctors if they aren't taking care of you.

@amira93, They aren't answering my questions is the problem. They keep saying "we will wait and see how it goes and reevaluate the situation at 28 weeks." butt heads.

I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Did anyone feel disappointed when they found out the gender of their baby? I really want a girl and my boyfriend wants a boy. I had strong feelings the first couple weeks that it was a boy but I refer to the baby as a she all the time now. He says I won't love the baby as much if it's a boy. Which is not true, I've just always wanted a girl. :/ I'll love my baby no matter what. I've already started shopping. I just know I'll feel a little sad when I find out the sex. :/
