its not mean. if they don't understand, they're ass holes. you need time to rest and heal and spend time with your baby. tell your nurses at the hospital that you don't want visitors and they won't let anyone in your room without your permission first

right after surgery ur sooooo drugged up theres not to much pain..bt the worst part was the DRUGS it makes u sleepy! for me it did! bt i kept hving visitors n i would be falling asleep! i felt bad bt what did they except!! lol...tell them to go the last day or so... @bellaluis1992

No it's not mean just make sure you start telling them now so they don't get hurt

No one came to see me until the next day except my stepdaughter and MIL. I was so drugged up I could barely lift my own arms and needed a lot of help with breastfeeding and what not. Because of that and some complications due to my daughter being a preemie, we didn't even post on social media until we were home.
